Rhythm Magazine

UK-based Rhythm Magazine has become the drumming and percussion magazine in Europe. It has also made significant in-roads to the USA.

You'll find a variety of articles on gear, artists, playing hints and tips and a host of other goodies in this monthly magazine. Included at the back is an excellent selection of adverts for selling and buying gear. Unfortunately, the magazine, published by Futurenet, does not have its own web site, which is a real downside, but the editor, Louise King can be contacted by e-mail. Contact Louise.

Modern Drummer

Probably the oldest and best-known of the drumming magazines, Modern Drummer is US-based and therefore, prints with a decidedly US flavour.

Published monthly, the magazine covers a similar range of drummers' interests to its European equivalent, Rhythm. They also have a truly excellent web site. It boasts to be 'The World's Most Widely Read Drum Magazine', so check it out.
